Tapahtuman kuvaus

Nouto Kemistä ja ajo (15 min) Kallin ulkoilukeskukseen josta kävely (15 min) näkötornille Meri-Lapin parhaille revontulten metsästyspaikoille. Tutkimme taivasta, kuuta, tähtiä ja revontulia silloin kun ne näkyvät. Teemme nuotion ja paistamme makkarat. Kuvausmahdollisuuksia myös useissa paikoissa. Huomioi että revontulet on luonnonilmiö eikä niiden näkemistä voi siten taata. Kysy saatavuutta!

Tietoa järjestäjästä - Marko

Olen Kemissä syntynyt, 5 lajin Suomen mestari. Suunnistan, juoksen ja hiihdän huvikseni niin lyhempää kuin pidempääkin matkaa. Tunnen Meri-Lapin parhaat paikat revontulten metsästykseen ja pystyn myös tarvittaessa neuvoa säätöjä revontulten kuvaukseen erilaisilla kameroilla.

Thank you Marko for sharing with us lots of background and stories about the area and auroras. You are also very talkative and full of humor! Even now we are back in Belgium, when we feel a bit down... we remember: "Check the sky! - I'll check the sky", and we smile. Also, thank you for sharing your spots and sources of information for going hunting by ourselves after that. We didn't see the auroras together, but we were able to look for them on our own after that, following your advice. Also, many thanks for the warning you gave us by WhatsApp the following day, we would probably have missed them without it, after that cloudy evening. Fare well until next time!

Many thanks to Marko and his brother! Great experience. We did not see the Aurora but they are so nice, and shared with us lot of stories about history of Kemi and surroundings, made barbecue with us and tried different spot to catch the Aurora. Definitely recommended!

The campfire kept us alive even in -15°C degrees.

Wonderful remoted area in the snowy forest, were we felt like touching the stars. The campire kept us alive even in -20°C degrees. Seeing the northern light was a dream come true! Marko has been a great guide sharing his experiences and taking professional pictures of us and the aurora. Everything was so well taken care of. Kiitos paljon!

Thank you so much for the amazing excursion! Because of the clouds we weren’t able to see the auroras but Marko was enthusiastic throughout and also gave us tips for spotting auroras. Truly an enjoyable experience :)

Marko was very lovely and fast, I sent him a last minute request and it was just me in the tour. He was very kind to share his knowledge and you can tell he really loves showing people around and have good conversations.
He prepared a fire and even we shared some hot chocolate and snacks. Even though it was a beautiful clear sky and a full moon, we didn't manage to see the Northern Lights but the experience was still amazing and I am very grateful Marko was so kind! Highly recommended if you want more of personal experience.

The tour was cancelled by the operator on the day due to low visibility which is fine.
The negative interaction is that instead of receiving my refund I have now received 3 feedback email requests and a text message at 1 am congratulating me on going on the tour.
Will someone please confirm the refund and stoop sending me feedback requests!!

Marko Yep, I don't do Aurora hunting when they aren't available. Still I can do easy walking tour on pleasant weather enjoying the beautifulness of the nature in Kalli but just to inform customers and keeping the Aurora guarantee we suggest canceling when it is not time to go. So canceling procedures should be easier on this platform.
